Milltown - On December 20 2014 at 5:44 PM Mill Creek Fire Company was dispatched to a house fire in the 4500 block of Pickwick Drive, Limestone Gardens.  At the same time Mill Creek Fire Company was assisting Hockessin Fire Company with a working house fire in their district.   As firefighters responded units on the scene reported heavy fire showing from the two story structure with the garage and first floor living areas fully involved.   Minquas, Cranston Heights, Five Points, Elsmere and the City of Wilmington Fire Department responded to the scene.   Over 50 firefighters fought the blaze until placed under control one hour later.   The fire also destroyed three vehicles.   The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
