At 9:48 PM on June 27, 2014 Mill Creek Fire Company was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash.   Reports indicated a vehicle had crashed into a home in the 1800 Block of Limestone Road, Stanton.  Arriving units found a car between two homes with severe structural damage to one of the homes.   The driver of the car was not injured.   Due to the structural damage to the home the Claymont Fire Company emergency collapse team was notified and responded to provide assistance with stabilizing the home.  New Castle County building inspector also responded to survey the damage.   Additional support beams and poles were installed by the special operations team and the home was wrapped in a large tarp by Mill Creek firefighters.   No one in the home was hurt.  Delaware State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.  All units cleared the scene just prior to 1:00 AM
