01/03/2013 - A single vehicle crash on Mill Creek Road just prior to McKennans Church Road snarled early morning traffic for hours.   The 8:01 AM dispatch reported a vehicle had overturned with electrical wires down.  Arriving firefighters and EMT's found the vehicle on its side with one person injured.   A utility pole was cut in half as the car veered off the road and then struck a tree.   Del-Mar-Va Power arrived on the scene and kept the road closed while line crews replace the utility pole.  Firefighters cleared the scene by 8:40 AM.  New Castle County Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
