December 7, 2021 – Mill Creek Fire Company was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash involving a DART bus at the intersections of Kirkwood Highway (Rt 2) and Duncan Road at 5:05 PM. Two patients were transported to the Christiana Hospital Emergency room by Mill Creek Fire Company ambulances.

East bound traffic on Kirkwood Highway was backed up for about a mile with road closures diverting traffic around the crash scene. The Delaware State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
