April 9, 2021 at 8:25 AM the Mill Creek Fire Company was dispatched to a house fire in the 5000 block of West Woodmill Drive.   Arriving units reported smoke showing.  The fire was quick;y extinguished.   Mill Creek was assisted by Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder, Christiana, Five Points, Cranston Heights, Minquas Fire Companies and the New Castle County Paramedics. 

The State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.   No injuries were reported and units cleared the scene at 9:13 AM.
