Pike Creek Valley – On March 14, 2020 at 1:46 AM, Mill Creek Fire Company was dispatched to a residential structure fire in the 5400 block of Doral Drive, Fairway Falls.   When firefighters arrived the front of the residence was on fire.  Firefighters quickly attacked the fire and were able to contain the blaze.   The fire caused heavy damaged to the front of the home and portions of the 2^nd floor.
 

The three occupants of the home escaped the blaze.   Firefighters from Elsmere, Five Points, Hockessin and Cranston Heights Fire Companies assisted Mill Creek along with NCC paramedics.   The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.   Units cleared the scene at 3:20 AM.
