January 5, 2019 - Mill Creek Fire Company was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian near the intersection of Kirkwood Highway and Limestone Roads.   As units arrived on the scene it was determined there were multiple victims including a person standing in a DART bus shelter.    In total, four individuals were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injures.   The crash damaged four vehicles with one of these vehicles destroying a DART bus shelter.   The Delaware State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.   

Belvedere Fire Company assisted on the call along with New Castle County Paramedics and additional ambulances from Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder and Elsmere Fire Companies.  Traffic on Kirkwood Highway was disrupted for an hour.
