December 22, 20118 – Mill Creek Fire Company was dispatched to a mobile home fie on Eighth Avenue in the Murray Manor Mobile Home Park at approximately 19:12 hours.   Along with the original dispatch, assistance was provided by Minquas, Elsmere, Five Points, Belvedere, Aetna Hook, Hose & Ladder and Cranston Heights Fire Companies.  A second report relocated the fire to Ninth Avenue.

As fire fighters arrived on the scene they had fire showing from the structure.  Original reports of someone trapped were negative.  All occupants were able to escape the fire.   The home was heavily damaged by fire and smoke.

Firefighters were on the scene for an hour.  The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.   There were no firefighter injures.
