On December 6, 2018 Mill Creek Fire Company was dispatched to a large outside fire on Milltown Road near the Heritage Park community.   Arriving firefighters found a 30 cubic yard dumpster on fire in the driveway of a home.   Firefighters quickly dosed the flames before any damaged occurred to the home.  The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office is investingating the cause of the fire.   Mill Creek Fire Company was assisted on the original dispatch by Minquas, Elsmere, Five Points and Cranston Heights Fire Companies.
